Collaboration has never been more vital when designing and building inclusive and sustainable places. Building cross disciplinary teams who communicate through a shared design language but with each their own skill set and creative input, can help to avoid working in professional silos and create impactful design solutions.
As our built environment evolves, how can we ensure design engages the public imagination and the communities the industry serves? How can we build with conscience and take responsibility for the buildings and places we create? What are the challenges when forging multi-disciplinary teams? How can we design sustainable infrastructure and buildings that enhance place and support wellbeing? What is the role of materiality when building with conscience?
