This panel of expert photographers, archivists and architects discuss the role of architectural photography as historical record. The panel presented the ways imagery of threatened buildings can function to safeguard their longevity and inform the design processes of restoration projects.

The evening begun with a photographic essay of forgotten heritage sites, composed by the Arcaid Images Photographer of the Year 2016, Matt Emmett, whose winning image of a covered reservoir in Finsbury Park (1868) offers the unique opportunity to experience a rarely accessible space in London.
